You could hack something and cut into it, just won't cut strait threw a leaf cause not that sharp, definitely will split a Mellon. I am planning to sharpen the blade, it definitely feels like the knife edge is a little unstrenthened soft, me and my gf sword fighted to see if it would clash like tv swords.
