The CPU I received is defective as it does not bootup in my compatible ASUS Rampage IV Extreme motherboard with the latest Bios version 4901. I do have another Ci7-3820 3,6 GHz CPU since I bought this new a few years ago which I placed back again and it is running fine. I tried the Ci7-4960X with again no bootup.

8272CL need 240W motherboard to use, does not apply to the ordinary motherboard, after your payment has been explained to you, you can match you with the appropriate motherboard, you have not replied for a long time, we can only send you the CPU, can not be used is not compatible with your motherboard.
