I haven't blown the images up on the computer to determine the resolution, but on the camera's back they are nothing to complain about. The price point was excellent. This allows me to use my Pentax M42 lenses on my Nikon D800. Only one minor issue so far is the Pentax 8 element 50mm f1.4 will not achieve infinite focus because the lens protrudes into the camera body during focus such that it impacts the internal lens on the adapter. The 55mm f1.8 no issue.

In addition, the quality of the adapter is low, distording the rendered image, and was overall disappointing. While the copy of this adapter that I received was not damaged, given the poor image quality, was not worth any price. If you need a Nikon f adapter for m42, you'd be better off picking a better design overall.

The rubber hood noted slightly imperfect, was excellent, appears the mold release slightly inconsistent, which doesn't matter and isn't noticeable except by close inspection. Superb service and selection.
