The finish on the mudguards is lovely but why provide a mixture of ordinary steel and stainless steel fittings? The support struts and nuts that grip these are stainless yet the selection of other mounting hardware is not (as checked out with a handy magnet) Luckily I had previous mounting fittings that were stainless so the whole combination should stay rust free.
