In this special, produced for the UK's Comic Relief program to alleviate poverty, the ninth Doctor (Rowan Atkinson) plans to settle down after a long and fruitful career, and marry his sweetheart Emma (Julia Sawalha). However, the Master (Jonathan Pryce) has different plans, namely the death of the Doctor. He has conspired with the Daleks, and they swiftly kill the ninth, tenth (Richard E. Grant), eleventh (Jim Broadbent), and twelfth (Hugh Grant) Doctors, then decide to devote the rest of their alien existences to doing good.
