This NIC fit perfectly and properly supports ASPM, meaning that it is power efficient and does not generate a lot of heat. I planned on unlocking the NIC to support third-party trancievers using the x710 unlocker on github, but the device was already unlocked to my suprise. If you are looking for SFP to rj45 transcievers, I strongly recommend the Wiitek transcievers if you are going 2.5g or above. They run very cool.
