Maybe because they were. They are just a cheap garbage plastic that will break and chip if you push it in any wrong direction, not to mention the 4 rings it comes with looked like a 3 year old welded them together. The whole ring was held together by one tiny tack weld that wasn’t even or smooth or anything. Cheaply made selling for way more than a piece of plastic should be.
