Unfortunately this is not the case. It does NOT work for SAS drives. It is for SATA drives ONLY. I have so many SATA connectors on the motherboard already, I purchase this card of course is planning to use with SAS drives. Description is kind of vague that did NOT explicitly saying it is NOT working for SAS drives.
