- v***a (1986)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseFantastic CD from Australia and originally released in December 1971 on Vinyl for Decca-SPA 168 as part of The World Of The Great Classics series and it`s a fantastic recording and this is his first of two recordings of Tchaikovsky`s Piano Concerto No.1, and he recorded the first piano concerto again in 1970 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by John Pritchard for EMI/CFP-CFP 115 with Litolff`s Scherzo. I recommend this CD.
