Seller Notes: “This vintage Art Deco yellow cream woven horse hair crinoline wide brim cloche hat dates from the ... “This vintage Art Deco yellow cream woven horse hair crinoline wide brim cloche hat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a yellow cream color sheer woven horse hair crinoline fabric with decorative zigzag stitching rows and an ecru cream color silk velvet ribbon hatband bow with a celluloid wooden hatpin accent on the back. This Great Gatsby picnic style cloche hat is form fitting with a tall crown, an asymmetrical wired wide brim and is lined in a yellow silk fabric inside. The hat measures 10 inches tall and is 21 1/2 inches inside crown circumference. It is in good condition, with some wear the velvet nap on the ribbon trim and a small frayed open seam on the front brim (see close-ups). This is truly an amazing piece of Art Deco millinery wearable art.”
