Seller Notes: “This antique Edwardian Titanic era yellow silk brown net overlay velvet trim belted dress dates ... “This antique Edwardian Titanic era yellow silk brown net overlay velvet trim belted dress dates from 1912. It is made of a pastel yellow silk fabric with a sheer brown net mesh square pattern fabric overlay and brown velvet, ivory lace, silver lame lace trim accents. This beautiful brown dress has a long floor length layered style, lace trimming the squared neckline, sleeves, brown velvet ribbon bow trim on the skirt net overlay which is shorter in the front longer in the back, an attached brown velvet wide cummerbund sash belt, hook snap closures along the front side and is lined inside the top only with a sheer white net fabric. The dress measures 58 inches long, with a 42 inch chest, 34 inch waist, 50 inch hips and 17 inch back. It is in good as-is condition with some restoration repairs, alterations done to make larger more wearable and has a tiny fray on the net under one arm. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art.”
