This 2 inch to 1.25 inch adapter also has 48mm internal female threads, which is nice when I remove the diagonal and attach an imaging camera using a nose piece. The quality of this adapter is better than I expected at this price. However, the clamping force is not as tight as desired on the lenses that have the smaller diameter safety groove. I’m confident the lens will not fall out, but it can still move about a millimeter when the clamp is in the safety groove.
