- p***r (109)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseOne end of the SFF-8087 cable is 99% likely connecting to a RAID/SAS card like PERC H200/H310, so of course the other split/fan out "should" be compatible with SAS drives as well. Unfortunately this is not the case. It does NOT work for SAS drives. It is for SATA drives ONLY. I have so many SATA connectors on the motherboard already, I purchase this card of course is planning to use with SAS drives. Description is kind of vague that did NOT explicitly saying it is NOT working for SAS drives.
