The tether stopper that mounts to the gas tank door is a bit too small so I can't use the tether on the gas cap, and I bought the gas cap with a tether to specifically use the tether, since I'm always forgetting to place the cap on the gas tank. So although the gas cap fits and screws into the tank, the tether is a bit too small.
