I received the black coat, but the "standard" coat length was too short.
I ordered the dark green coat, w/ a longer length, but that was too long, so I ordered a tan, with the length between the black and green lengths. There must have been a misunderstanding or miscommunication, because the tan was no shorter than the too-long green, maybe even slightly longer. Great coats, imperfect lengths.

This is a full Norfolk style jacket/coat of a light material. Some things which weren’t apparent from the photos: the belt is sewn to the body of the coat, the pockets do expand at the bottom but are far too tight at the top to fit very much to take advantage of that (originally these were shooting jackets so those pockets would hold extra shells etc), there are no hidden buttons. Fortunately, extra material was included so my tailor can fix these issues. More form than function but also cheap.

You get what you pay for. My 220lbs is smaller than Asian of comparable weight/ The shoulders will be the most difficult to reduce in width. The sleeve width & body more easily reduced by a local; Taylor ,,The finish work Is impeccable/save button holes a tad shaggy. It's a MICRO tweed, but I suppose technically a tweed.
