Item sent is not the O-ring in this picture. The one in the picture, the one I ordered, is for the outside of the distributor shaft that prevents the oil from seeping out onto the engine. The O-ring that was sent is perfectly round, with no flat side (inner-side of the ring). I believe the one sent is meant for the internal rebuild of the shaft, one that prevents oil from seeping into the cap. I will revise this review with an update should my complaint be satisfactorily resolved
