It is unfortunate that Presto no longer produce taps in Carbon Steel. As I understand that for ME this is the better material. Unfortunately, it is pointless having the Carbon Steel Tap if it is not made by the best maker. The general rule is, buy what you can afford in a set & gradually replace the most used items with quality replacements. Hence, this set of three M6 x 1 taps.
