This item was packed well, no damage. The box however was to big for the item, thus was beaten up in the shipping process. The item was advertise as new, and it is in excellent condition; however the maker stamp mark on the botton of the item seemed a bit too faded for a new one - interesting.

Item was brand new as advertised. As glass is not an exact science, variations that do not affect usage such as slight fading appearance of the pattern/stamp do occur during the production process. This is more prevalent on Sandstone pieces than on white backgrounded pieces as the beige color makes the stamp appear lighter colored. I have even seen new pieces that appear to not even have a stamp unless viewed with magnification. Thank you.
