I was able to register the drives with Seagate's warranty service alongside those I've purchased from other (major) resellers. The drives were in sealed plastic containers with OEM shrink wrap and appeared as new, as described. What else can I say, thanks again Greenlight_OMG. The bump from taking my old 4TBs to 12TBs NAS RAID 1 is awesome.
