The Wii Plus Multimedia Remote features the same button layout as the original Wii controller, making the transition to the new remote seamless. Rather than use a different button layout, Nintendo went with what worked and added new features instead, such as better internal hardware to result in more accurate motion tracking. With this improvement in technology, the Wii Plus remote offers a 1:1 movement ratio, allowing players to become much more immersed, as if they're playing the real sport. Similar to the original controller, the Nintendo Wii Plus Multimedia Remote can be paired up with additional peripherals for convenience depending on the game you're playing.
