There is a little bit of difference in the size of the actual handle piece, but not major. My car is black so you have to get up close to notice. I wouldn't put on just for style though, just to cover up. Definitely use the adhesive promoter provided. It pops off easy without it. Obviously clean the area before installing. It's chrome, so fingerprints show. Probably will get the black ones next time.
