    I was very concerned that this item would specifically fit the sigma 8mm fisheye lens, as it was hard finding a front lens cover anywhere, not even sigma had them in stock. This item was well made, delivered quickly and fits well on the lens. Since this type of lens is curved it needs a cover that won't touch or rub the lens. This one seems to not touch the glass, but to ensure it won't damage, I inserted foam paper in the cover for protection. This cover has inside ring to prevent damage
