Definitely new and unsed. Price is right if you need a cable with the pinout it has. 1, 7, 8, 9, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 open. 2-15, 3-13, 4-12, 5-10, 6-11, 10-5, 11-6, 12-4, 13-3, 15-2, 16-16, 17-17, 25-25. I used my Paladin Tools 1570 to id the pinout. I couldn't identify what it is for, I've been building cables, serial terminal, modem, null modem, parallel, etc for nearly 40 years. And until this cable I hadn't seen this pinout. Hope this helps if someone knows the use let me know pls
