I just received and tried it outside on a few trash tree stumps I'm removing from two gardens here. The handle comfortably keeps the axe head inline, and the head's mass enables easy stripping off of small bud blooms. I cut off two small root laterals, and stripped off all the bark at ground level without complaint. Cleaned it up with oil spray bomb and a rag. It's a gardening axe that will do the job for me. I'm happy with it. Thanks.
