Comes from a smoke free home where this was well stored away kept wrapped in tissue and boxed. No odors or soiling. In certain light it almost seems as if there may be (or may not be) be some minor streaks of fade in the silk. But honestly I did not even notice it unless held a certain way and it may be original to the dye. The fringes are very good, but some of them are a lighter shade of green or slightly greenish yellow, but it does not detract from the beauty of the shawl.. Silk is very supple, no dryness at all.
