Notes
Reissue of this 2007 album from the acclaimed musician. Bassist and synthesist Patrick O'Hearn began his career backing up music wizard Frank Zappa in the 1970s before forming the new-wave band Missing Persons in the early '80s and later striking out on his own. The album was inspired by images of Earth's Arctic regions. Shortly after the release of Glaciation, Patrick joined John Hiatt's band and he put his solo career on ice for the next four years. Finest effort yet from this award winning musician-composer who's influential contemplative sound continues to find favor with audience and critics alike.

I like Patrick O'Hearn but this was one of the few albums I didn't have.
I prefer some of his earlier albums but need to listen to this one a few more times to be sure. It's a little more muted.
The CD played fine -- which was my main concern.
