The Hartford Wire Works Company specialized in Floral Designs in Wire such Flower Stands, Sponge Baskets, Window & Door Guards, Screens, Spark Guards and Fenders. Their offices were located on Asylum Street in Hartford. The Advertising Cover is illustrated with an engraving of a Flower Stand. A Hartford Time on Bottom Duplex Cancel ties a 2 cent brown banknote stamp mailed to Meriden, Conn. The back of the envelope is illustrated with examples of wire works products manufactured by the Company.”
