No advance contact there was a problem. When I asked what happened he said "This item, due to its weight and size, only ships with UPS to locations in the lower 48 Unites States. We do not offer any "free shipping" options to Alaska." But the listing clearly indicated free shipping, Alaska was not excluded and thry accepted my offer. This was a waste of time. Poor customer service.
