Seller said I could return the item but asked why it took me 5 days to report it. I responded that that 5 days after received the package is a reasonable time to notify. I said I can still use the bottom part & asked if I would have to pay a shipping fee. Seller did not respond. When I asked again, the seller suggested the item was not the one he sent me, claiming his was a new gift. It seems like you wanted a partial refund and to still keep the item. Very suspicious so I told you to contact eBay because I believe fraudulent activity here. There was no way this item would have been cracked on shipping due to the
