This is what I needed for my 2008 Mercedes Benz E63, to pass state inspection. I didn't want to drill holes in the bumper, so I used this 'tow hook' mount. It works pretty good, but I would have liked it to be easier to tighten. It was difficult to keep license plate area from moving. Also, took the car thru a carwash without any problem.
