On the photo the plastic cover looks darker but in person it's the regular clear plastic so it does shine a bit. Colors are accurate tho. For what I got it, it was for sure valued at a reasonable price point. While I was swapping over the lights they had a really hard time locking into place with the housing. Some of them were smooth and others I thought I was breaking the plastic.
