It is hard to regulate the heat without a lid and defiantly cannot use with wind. HOWEVER, this is a nice little grill and will serve us well. Directions were easy to follow and it does the job. The little grill that can! Cooking a 2 inch this steak just took a couple extra beers so it worked out! Perfect for burgers, dogs, chicken breasts. Will use the flat grill next weekend and see how that goes.
