    I would not really recommend this holster for the Ruger Alaskan. Barely fits the massively LARGE frame of the Alaskan. This holster fits SMALL frame 5 shot revolvers and is clearly stated so on the packaging. Had I known that, I would not have purchased it. Thankfully I own small frame 5 shot revolers (SP101, LCR, etc.) so I can still use it. Very versatile and adjustable holster for the small frame 5 shot snub nose revolvers.
