The cover was opened roughly along the right edge. The enclosure is a small letterhead with a typewritten letter dated Nov. 4, 1906, regarding a dead rooster. Vernon Creamery was a Manufacturer of "Vernon Butter" and had been awarded a Silver Medal at the Paris Exposition [the Paris Universal Exposition took place in 1900].”
