It is rather thin, which leaves it with a minimum of threads, however after attaching it to the lens and a quality 52mm UV filter, any subsequent filter(s) would screw into that initial filter, so I suspect the shallow threads on the adapter won’t pose a problem, as it will probably rarely be removed from the lens or the UV filter.
