This three-disc set chronicles the band's later period, from 1985's epic THE CHRONICLE OF THE BLACK SWORD, a collaboration with sci-fi author/longtime cohort Michael Moorcock, to 1997's DISTANT HORIZONS. While founding guitarist Dave Brock is the only constant from one end of this collection to the other (not to mention the band's whole discography), the trademark combination of swooping electronic effects, futuristic themes, and heavy guitars remains remarkably consistent.
