(The i5's will only take 8gb). So I'm a very happy camper. I have an ancient P505-S8980 C2D that has literally over one billion keystrokes shoved thru it in 5 years. The keys were flying off the keyboard. This is the gaming version of mine with an i7 and stil hss the 18.4" screen. With a fast SATA SSD they are great for an internet machine (not gaming, however)
