When I took it out of the box and removed it from the case you could tell someone had dropped the camera on the lens at some point in it's life because the filter screwed on to the end of the lens was pulverized glass and dented. This also cracked the end of the lens where the filter threads. The camera itself was fine and working but the lens is unusable because the focus system got damaged
