      The card arrived operational, but the heatsink was detached from the chipset. Not sure if this happened during handling by USPS or if it was already detached before shipping. After adding silicone base thermal paste, the chipset is working within normal temperature range. With the heatsink detached the chipset was 10°C higher than normal. I hope the card holds up for a long time because the factory paste is epoxy based, not soft silicone.
