I use them pressed into a solid steel housing and these (unlike every other 608 bearing I have ever used) were not held in with a nice friction fit! The difference is probably in the order of a few hundredths of a mm... (based on trying to measure with vernier callipers good for tenths of a mm). Not much but sometimes it matters. These bearings were not guaranteed accurate so they are good value if you dont need
