I think to call them "Gel" high arch is somewhat misleading as you would expect them to be a thicker gel (spongy) type sole, but they are not. The main reason I bought them was because they were a dark colour and I wanted to fit them into my open toed walking sandals, but unfortunately them don't stay put and therefore can't be used. I think they are rather on the expensive side for the quality.
