I did order a little larger than I needed because I was between sizes, so it will need a belt to make it fit well, but the waistband is equipped with sturdy belt loops. The pleats are stitched along the edges to keep them sharp, and the fabric is quite stiff, so you might want to sew some curtain weights in the hem to keep it hanging nicely. My query to the seller was promptly and thoroughly answered. Very satisfied.
