Both CPUs have the same number of Cores, but the i7-7700 has twice as many Threads and this has made a HUGE difference. See the specs at CPU Upgrade dot com. I run Samsung nvme drives, so my boot time is now about 13 seconds into Windows 11, where it used to be about 30 seconds on the i5-7500. I am very please with the performance so far.

The PS4 is beautiful coming out of the box, and appears to be brand new (or just very well taken care of) and Well Worth the $200+ less than what others in this condition are selling for. 👌 For me it'll work perfectly until I can figure out how to use it with games I've ordered. Hey, I'm an old N64/PSI guy 😆
