My recent purchase was for my mum who has had a partial mastectomy. The reason for buying them for her to try was to prevent the cold getting to her as her scar seems very sensitive especially in cold weather. She is delighted with them and they have in her words given her abit of shape back. They are reusable too, with no actual sticky adhesive to cause irritation and medical grade silicone
