Seller offers a choice of models with extension cords of different length - I asked for one with a long cord, which I received. My particular unit has a defective manual volume control, but this is not a problem for modern computer setups - keyboard & software volume controls (which are more accessible anyway) work just fine, so I see no need to return it. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the price and the quality of the unit.

The built in USB cable is less than 12", so I used an extension cable to place the sound bar at where it is suitable for me, the short USB cable may not be a problem for everyone though.
