The original processor was a 32 bit and this one is a 64 bit. I found a site that indicated that there are some 64 bit bit processors that will run in a Dell Dim. 4700 motherboard, most ones were 32 bit. Now I can run 64 bit O/S on my computer, either Windows or Linux. Sorry I took so long to leave feedback, been busy.Pentium 4 660 3.6GHZ 4.1GHZ Overclock CPU (#355013539494)
