This item came without instructions. I contacted the company and they sent some pictures which allowed me to orientate the brackets. I watched some youtube videos and figured some things out. The lock washers were too big and I supplied 4 washers that should have been included.
Be careful while the struts work once the hood is up about 6 inches below that it does not provide much support and will slam on you. Time will tell how long they last. At least the price was right. I guess you get what
