This light weight device is excellent for plein air forays. It works well you just need to calibrate it for the size increase you get with different peg holes. All the holes make some differences but you need to know how much bigger as there are no size references on the dividers themselves. Hole 3 is a 1:4 ratio, hole 6 is a 1:2 ratio and hole 11 is a 1;1 ratio. These are the most useful ratios when you count the holes down from the top.
