Thanks for the quick shipping. I am thrilled to have this lovely postcard! The distant house is 124 Washington Ave, now Giulio's Restaurant in Tappan NY, built in 1880 by my husband's 2nd great grandfather, Charles Smith/ Schmidt, a German immigrant. 4 generations of Smiths lived in the house, and my husband used to take the train from St. Louis MO, and visit often when he was a child. The postcard is a lovely gift for my husband.
