I found a real weak station and compared the two by plugging first one then the other back and forth to see which gave the best sound. Sound wise they were the same but the little 5" antenna looked much better than the 2' antenna sticking up in the air. Both arrived in excellent condition and the price was almost the same. Great value for the $$$ and I'll take the long one downst
